Women Gang-Raped in Bihar’s Buxar Area, 5-Year-old Son Strangled to Death

On Monday an Official told that In Bihar’s Buxar district seven men gang-raped a woman and killed her 5-year-old son. One person has been arrested as of now.

The incident occurred on Saturday, near Chaigainvillage. A manhunt is underway to arrest the others the police told.

The victim has visited a bank in the village to deposit money while returning back to her home. She was intercepted by the accused and was taken to a nearby Buxar forest, Where they took turns on gang-raped her.

Their brutality did not end there, the accused then strangulated the mother and the son, who accompanied her. By using ropes and threw them into a canal. The men thought them to be dead but however, were rescued by the passer-by’s and was taken to Sadar hospital where the doctors declared the child brought dead. But the woman survived

The SDPO of Dumraon Range K.K. Singh told that “The medical examination of the victim is complete and report is awaited. We have arrested one of the accused named Munni Ram and raids are on to nab others,”

Manoj Jha the MP of RJD Rajya Sabha slammed the law and order situation in Bihar It is pathetic. Similar to Hathras. The CM and deputy CM have no control over law and order in the state.”

This is a second gang rape within three days in Patna.

In another incident, a 14-year old girl was allegedly raped on Saturday night by an auto-rickshaw driver and three others in a godown at Lekha locality under Danapur police in the state capital.

The victim who is the native of the Bihiyan police state area of Ara took an auto from the Saguna More area and was going to Danapur Junction. The auto driver is suspected to have already informed his friends in advance about the woman passenger. He stopped the auto at a  place near Lekha Nagar where three of his friends were already present.

The accused were calling each other by their names, the victim told the police. Thus, the accused were identified. In her statement, the survivor claims that the accused may have pre-planned the monstrous act.

“The crime spot where she was taken was isolated which is why no one could hear her screaming,” said an official adding that the police suspect that the spot could have been used previously for such crimes.

She told: There was no one around who could hear me screaming for help and they seemed perfectly confident that no one would come to my rescue,” the victim said in her statement. “They must have planned the whole thing and were only waiting for a target,”

Ajit Kumar SahaDanapur SHO told that the incident took place at around 8:30 p.m. when the victim was working as a maid-servant at the Ashiana More, she hired an auto-rickshaw but was mislead by the auto driver and he went towards Lekha Nagar.
