12,179 cases were settled and an amount of Rs 20.78 crore was awarded as compensation in the state during the National Lok Adalt held in Telangana.
The National Lok Adalat was organized by Telangana State Legal Services Authority under the guidance and leadership of Justice Thottathil B Nair Radha Krishnan, the Chief Justice of High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and a Patron-in-Chief, Telangana State Legal Services Authority, Justice V Ramasubramanian, Executive Chairman, Tetangana State Legal Services Authority, Justice P V Sanjay Kumar, Chairman, High Court Committee.
