1,433 vacancies in PR and municipal departments will be filled by Telangana

In the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development and Municipal Administration departments, 1,433 vacancies were approved by the State Government on Tuesday.

Orders have been issued by the Finance department in this regard. In the State Assembly, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao announced the State Government’s intention to fill 83,039 vacancies in various departments, as well as regularize 11,103 contract employees.

Through this initiative, 33,787 vacancies have been filled in various departments.

Aside from this, efforts are being intensified to fill 12,775 vacancies in the medical and health departments. Among these, 10,028 vacancies will be filled through the medical recruitment board. In the coming days, Health Minister T Harish Rao will issue notifications for filling up 1,326 vacancies.

According to the approval for filling up 1,433 vacancies in Panchayat Raj, Rural and Municipal Administration, there are 420 vacancies in rural water supply, 350 in general and Panchayat Raj, three under Panchayat Raj HOD, two in TSIPARD, three in Election Commission, Telangana, 196 in Municipal Administration, 236 in Public Health, and 233 in Town and Country Planning.

As COVID-19 cases rise, the Telangana government recalls precautions

In a tweet, the governor stressed the importance of sanitizing hands and reducing crowding in public places as scientists predict the fourth wave. Having said that, there is no need to worry. To make sure that every resident is taken care of, a system has been put in place. It is important to report symptoms immediately if they appear.

There were 63 positive COVID-19 cases reported in the state on Sunday, down from 64 on Saturday.

Harish Rao, Health Minister, said in a meeting held here on Sunday that two COVID-19 variants, Omicron BA.4 and BA.5, are increasing concerns for the state.
