All those who are 18 years of age and above will get the Covid vaccine at 204 vaccination centers of the state. This was revealed by the director of the Directorate of Public Health (DPH) Dr. Srinivasa Rao today.
Speaking to media persons he said that they were giving the vaccination to the people through walk-in registration mode in 636 PHCs from the rural areas of the state.
He said that the vaccination process in 100 more Centers of GHMC will commence from July 3, 2021. He said that they had decided to administer the second dose of the Covisheild vaccine after 14 to 16 weeks.

He however suggested people to take the second dose of the coaxing vaccine after 4 to 6 weeks. He said that 30 lakh people of the state would require the second dose of the vaccine in the month of July.
Commenting on a question about the delta variant, he said that the state had suffered a lot due to the same variant.
