Hyderabad: A modern library with all facilities will be set up in Sanathnagar Assembly constituency area soon, according to Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. He handed over a Rs 2.98-crore cheque to GHMC Projects CE Sridhar for construction of a modern library at Adaiah Nagar area in Monda Market division.
On the occasion, the minister asked the officials concerned to construct modern library at the same place at the earliest. State Libraries Centre was funding for the library to be constructed by the GHMC. Srinivas Yadav also said all other libraries in the city will get a facelift. The government will spend Rs 1 crore for the purpose and a meeting will be called for finalizing an action plan, he added. (NSS)
