2 Crore Children Aged 15-18 Years Vaccinated With First Covid 19 Vaccine

As per the latest reports, A total of 2 crore children have been vaccinated with the primary portion of Covid-19 antibody, since the start of the vaccination drive for kids aged between 15 to 18 years on January 3.

Number Of Children For Vaccination Continues To Grow

As per the CoWIN gateway, at this point, a sum of 2,17,42,837 adolescents have been vaccinated and the numbers are expanding each moment.

Praising the kids on the event, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted: “Incredible Going, my Young Friends. North of 2 crore adolescents between the 15-18 age bunch have accepted their first portion of COVID19 antibody in under seven days of inoculation drive for children”, said Mandaviya in a tweet.

According to the CoWIN gateway, upwards of 2,37,67,488 youths of 15 to 18 age bunch have enlisted for the vaccinations up to this point. According to an assessment, around 7.50 crore teenagers of this age section are in India to whom antibodies will be regulated the nation over. Out of aggregate, more than two crores have accepted their first portion of the antibodies inside the main seven-day stretch of its starting.

On December 25, the Prime Minister had declared that the vaccination for the 15-18 age gathering would start from January 3. At this point, just Bharat Biotech’s natively made Covaxin will be accessible for immunizing this age section.

As per the healthcare department, extra portions of Covaxin have been shipped off the states and Union domains for immunizing this populace classification.
