3 held for selling cloned fingerprints of lecturers

Hyderabad: Acting on a tip-off, Commissioner’s Task Force personnel on Tuesday apprehended a gang of three persons identified as Bomma Ramakrishna, P. Sriram Prasad and Poreddy Sudershan Reddy at Saibaba Temple Kaman, Champapet here on Tuesday for indulging in illegal preparation and selling of cloned fingerprints of faculty members of various educational institutions and showing false online biometric attendance technically to the JNTU officials and fraudulently making money.

The police also seized a net cash of Rs 3 lakh, 02-Visiontek Biometric machine, one glue gun, 30 glue sticks, 60 cloned finger prints of 29 faculty members of Vivekananda Group of Institutions of B Pharmacy, 20 fingerprint impressions of faculty members.  (NSS)
