6,900 Haj pilgrims left for Makkah

Two more Special Haj Flights carrying 600 pilgrims left for Haj pilgrimage from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport today and with this the total number of pilgrims who reached Makkah, their destination has rose to 6,600, who are busy in prayers and other religious activities.

The 23rd batch was flagged off by Mr. B. Narayan Rao, MLA Baswa Kalyan, Bidar Karnataka, Mr. Mohammed Masiullah Khan Chairman TS Haj Committee, Prof. S. A. Shukoor Special Officer, Mr. Abu Talha Amjad, Mr. Mohammed Arifuddin and Mr. M.A. Shafee Members of TS Haj Committee.

Addressing the pilgrims before their departure Mr. Narayan Rao said that the pilgrims are very fortunate for leaving for this pious journey. He requested to pray for the peace, progress and development of the country and the nation. He said that Islam is the pure and simple religion which has no touchablity in it and which can wipe out touchablity from this land. He appreciated the arrangements made by the Telangana State Haj Committee.

Mr. Mohammed Masiullah Khan Chairman State Haj Committee said that the Haj Committee is rendering selfless services to the pilgrims with at most care and attention.
Special Officer Haj Committee Prof. S. A. Shukoor explained important aspects of the Haj journey and advised the pilgrims to keep their money, Boarding Card and other important documents safely. Mr. M. A. Shafee, Mr Arifuddin, Mr. Abu Talha Amjad Members of the Haj Committee, Mr. K. Babu Rao DCP, Mr. Ghouse Mohiuddin Addl. DCP, Mr. Irfan Shareef Asst. Secretary TS Haj Committee and others were present on this occasion.

On 15th August at 9:40 the last Haj Flight will take off from Rajiv Gandhi International Airpiort.
