Accept money from KCR, but vote for BJP: Bandi Sanjay tells Telangana people

Telangana BJP chief, Bandi Sanjay, sparked controversy on Sunday when he accused the state’s chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of misappropriating government funds.

He also asked people to accept money from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and vote for the BJP while accusing the chief minister of allegedly distributing money for votes.

Praja Sangrama Yatra was conducted by BJP leader in Patherched Village, Mahbubnagar district, on Sunday.

Sanjay told the gathering that KCR believes if he gives money, poor people will vote for him. Sanjay said to take the money from him.

As a result, his bank balance will decrease, or he will become richer and you will become poorer. I recommend that you accept the money if he offers Rs 5,000 or Rs 10,000, he said

“However much he is distributing during the election, it is the money your money given by PM Modi for different government schemes but he is using it for the elections. The poor will never sell their votes. The poor have integrity and commitment,” he emphasized.

According to Sanjay, even though the TRS distributed money before the elections in Dubbak and Huzurabad, voters opted to vote for the BJP.

“During the by-elections in Dubbak and Huzurabad, the TRS distributed Rs 5,000-10,000 for votes. People accepted it, but when voting they voted for the BJP. We won both the sitting seats held by the TRS in these by-elections. Also, the BJP also won 48 seats in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections,” the leader said.

The Allegations against Telangana’s chief minister are being made in advance of the upcoming Assembly elections. It is worth noting that K Chandrasekhar Rao is yet to lose the CM seat since 2014 when Telangana was formed.
