Hyderabad: State Public health director Dr. G Srinivas Rao today said that after Delhi, Telangana tops in home isolation of Corona cases.
He informed media persons that about 12000 persons in home isolation were treated so far.
Also, he said 6556 persons are being treated in home isolation through telemedicine and video calling.
We have issued notices to 13 out of 18 private labs permitted after finding violations of COVID testing norms and showing more positive cases.
The private labs showed wrong data and violations which will face action he warned.
Besides one lab in Himayat Nagar has come up with results showing 72 percent cases as positive for Corona.
These labs can conduct 6000 cases and we have completed the tests for 50000 cases he remarked.
He said that people should look at more number of cases being treated against one or two cases gone viral.
Soon we will conduct more Corona tests here keeping the increase of the cases in view.
He found fault that social media shows the wrong campaign on the COVID tests.
The government is committed to offering more tests.
Only serious cases are treated in Gandhi hospital and the rest are in King Koti, Fever, and Chest hospitals.
Due to unlock 1 and 2 cases are increased in June while it was less in May he said.
Five more private labs will get permission for Corona tests, he said.
