Advocates Meet K Keshava Rao For Assembly Tickets

Hyderabad: Telangana State Advocates Federation today sought the TRS leadership to give them proportionate representation in the ensuing elections and give tickets. A team of lawyers led by Rajender Reddy on Sunday called on the TRS General Secretary K Keshava Rao and tried to impress upon to get them tickets and also other demands.

They urged the party high command to see that the advocates who actively participated in the Telangana statehood movement should be given necessary representation in
the Assembly. In a memorandum submitted to Keshava Rao, the advocates federation sought the former to take initiative and talk to the TRS boss and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to give them tickets to contest the elections. The delegation also urged for increase in the grants in the TRS Manifesto and stipend for junior advocates.

Later they told press persons that they urged Keshava Rao to talk to KCR and agree to the just demands of giving tickets to contest the elections and others. Keshava Rao has promised to take up the issue with the TRS supremo to consider their demands, they said.(NSS)
