Agri University Rajendranagar conduct mega health camp for students

The College of Agriculture Rajendranagar, in association with Renova group of Hospitals Langerhouse, has conducted a mega health camp at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) campus on Tuesday that received an overwhelming response from the students.

While addressing the camp, Senior Consultant Physician Renova Hospitals Dr.Naveed shed a light over the preventive measures need to be adopted during the third wave while and said “People should acclimatise with covid appropriate behaviour that may help them fend of infections.” Dr.Kartheek, an orthopaedic, pores over the causes and symptoms of Osteoporosis.

While highlighting the contributions made by the hospital during COVID’s first and second wave, Dr.T.V.Nagesh, Director, Renova group of Hospitals said “Renova hospital saved thousands of lives by ensuring timely treatment. At a time when positive cases are ratchet-up again, this sort of health camp comes as an opportunity to arrest the further spread of the influenza as health cases issues nowadays need a more meticulous approach.”

Dr.Seema, Dean of Agriculture, PJTSAU Dr.Satyanarayana, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. V.Anitha, Dean PG studies, Dr Jamuna Rani Director IP, Dr M.Sridhar Director, Planning and Monitoring cell, Dr Padmaja Director Polytechnics Dr.C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, Dr.K.Pavan Chandra Reddy, Incharge Medical Officer took part in the camp.

About 200 students besides teaching and non teaching staff took part in the camp and performed different examinations like ECG, RBS, BP, height, weight, general consultation and Ortho consultations during the mega health camp.

Following the lectures, students and the staff participated in the health camp in large numbers. This is the first such camp conducted after COVID second wave that received an overwhelming response.
