Hyderabad: AISF has demanded the state government to include patriot Bhagath Singh’s life history in school curriculum.
Participating in the AISF 83rd foundation day celebrations held at AISF state office at Himayathnagar here on Sunday, former AISF State secretary Bala Mallesh said the AISF was founded on August 12, 1936 at Luknow in Uttar Pradesh to free the nation from the clutches of Britishers. He said the AISF stood in first row during the separate Telangana movement too. He urged the present leadership to wage movements against the “anti-education amendments and teach a lesson to the NDA government, which was saffronising the education”.
AISF state secretary Shivaram demanded the state government to install Bhagath Singh statue on the Tank Bund. He also alleged that the TRS government was handing over Education to corporate companies in the State. AISF leaders R Shivaram, Laxman, Kranthi, Sravan, Chaithanya, Raghu, Vamshi, Nagajyothi, A Jagan, Sai, Shivakumar, Prem, Rajashekar and others participated in the program. (NSS)
