Amaravati: The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy claimed that his state is in the top position in terms of the Corona tests. While conducting the review meeting with the collectors and Superintendents of police of several districts from his camp office Tadepalligudam during spandana program, he maintained that the Andhra Pradesh is in top position in tests as more than 50,000 tests have been conducting daily in the state.
The Chief Minister praised the role of officials and collectors in containing the COVID 19 pandemic and said although more than one lakh cases have been registered in the state, half of them have been cured. The corona mortality rate in the country is 2.5 percent while in the state it has registered only 1.06 percent. He revealed that 85 percent of Covid19 patients were cured at home. He directed the officials to have a standard mechanism in providing services to the people.
“ There is a need to bring awareness about the precautions and treatment of the COVID 19. Posters should be put up in every village and ward secretariat. Officers should constantly monitor the performance of call centers. We will look into the Corona patients in the home quarantine. The physicians should monitor their health from time to time . ”said CM Jagan.
