Andhra Pradesh government today extended the ongoing curfew till May 31, 2021. The Chief Minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy issued the orders to the officials concerned on the issue.
The CM said that they would need four weeks time to get the results of the lockdown. He said that it had been only 10 days for the state government since it imposed the lockdown. He asked the officials to take steps for the containment of Covid virus in the rural areas of the state.

He asked the officials to utilize the services of Asha workers village volunteers and the Secretariat system. He asked the officials to take steps for rescuing the children of those parents who lost their lives due to the Covid virus and added that an action plan should be prepared to extend financial assistance to such children.
He asked the officials to deposit certain on the names of the children of the Covid victims and spend the interest amount on the children .
