In the latest update, the notable Jinnah Tower was painted in the national tricolours. The tower which is a city milestone has for some time been buried in the debate over being named in the distinction of Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.
In an evident bid to control the endeavors to raise the collective pitch, the Guntur Municipal Corporation on Tuesday painted the design in the shades of the Indian banner and raised an iron fencing around the construction.

On January 26, as the country celebrated its Republic Day, the Guntur Police had captured individuals from the Hindu Vahini attempting to spread out the Indian National banner at the ‘Jinnah Circle’ in Guntur.
