Another aircraft crashed near Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A Kiran aircraft from the Hakimpet Air Force Station here crashed at Bahupet village in Yadadri-Bhongir district this morning. The trainee pilot survived with simple injuries after he ejected himself from the plane moments before the crash.

According to informed sources, the aircraft which took off from the air force station encountered a technical glitch mid-air. The alert pilot noticed it and made an emergency landing. In a statement, a Defence PRO said a court of enquiry will investigate the cause of accident.

It may be mentioned that this is second such incident this month on November 21, a training aircraft of the city-based Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy, crashed into an agriculture field in Mokila area near resulting in smple injuries to the trainee pilot. (NSS)
