AP CM launches E-Raksha bandhan program

Amaravati:  Andhra Pradesh  Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy today launched the e-Raksha Bandhan program designed jointly by the CID wing and the police department of the state for the protection of children and women of the state.

The program was launched on the occasion of the Raksha Bandhan festival which is meant to showcase the Love between brothers and sisters of the country with an objective to protect the women of the state from cybercriminals. Speaking on the occasion he said that they were taking all steps to protect the women of the state.

He said that they would provide one-month-long training to the girls of schools, colleges, and working women with the help of cybersecurity experts under the program.
He also said that they would also hold publicity programs with the help of short films, animation, and reading material.

State Home Minister Sucharita, MLA Vidadala Rajani, State woman’s commission chairperson Vasirddy Padma tied rakhis to the CM on the occasion.
