AP CM orders to construct Mosque and Temple in Amaravati

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Supremo N Chandrababu Naidu asked officials to take steps to construct a huge Mosque under the supervision of Wakf board in the new capital city Amaravati.

CM Chandrababu Naidu instructed to the Capital Region Development Authority officials and Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana.

Addressing them, he asked them to make preparations to construct a Mosque on the lines of Makkah Mosque in Saudi Arabia in a ten acres of land in Amaravati. The construction of mosque should be carried out under the supervision of Wakf board, he said.

He also said that the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam is constructing a huge Venkateswara temple in Amaravthi. At the same time, the Mosque should come up at the other side of the temple, he told the officials. He said that the capital city should be a Centre for various cultures and religions.
