Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Human Rights Commission has issued notices to Telangana State DGP M Mahender Reddy asking him to give an explanation on the externment of Kakinada Sri Preetam pontiff Swami Paripoornananda.
On Monday, Mint Compound Thrishakthi Hanuman Temple Trust chairman Shiva Kumar approached the Andhra Pradesh Human Rights Commission alleging that the externment of Paripoornananda comes under violation of human rights.
Perusing the petition, Justice Subramanyam directed the Telangana State DGP to attend before the Commission on September 24 to give an explanation personally on the issue. (NSS)
