Apologise for False Campaign : Harish to Kishan Reddy

Health and Finance Minister Harish Rao today criticized union minister G Kishan Reddy for spreading falsehood on state issues. The Minister demanded that Kishan Reddy should tender an apology for false propaganda in social media.

Talking to press persons at Telangana Bhavan here, he accused the BJP leadership of a misinformation campaign on paddy procurement, land to AIIMS In Bibinagar near the city, and other development programs in the state. The Union minister should stop spreading lies in social media and tender an apology, he suggested.

Harish Rao ridiculed the BJP protests in districts to press states to procure paddy which got poor responses from farmers.

The center has to get our Paddy stocks and the BJP leaders should ask the Centre for the same instead, Harish Rao said.

The center is taking paddy grains from Punjab and refusing to get the same from Telangana state, he fumed. Why such partially towards our farmers, he asked. The people and farmers are aware of the nefarious designs of the BJP government and its state leaders he said. There was no support to BJP protests as the farmers are not happy with the center, Rao said.

He also said that Kishan Reddy should take any person with knowledge in his advisory team to talk correctly on some issues related to the state.

The center, he said,  is partial towards Telangana by denying to allot a medical college to it, he expressed disappointment.

As many as 157 colleges were given to various states by the center led by the BJP government which failed to give one medical college to our state, Harish Rao lamented.  The center ignored our repeated appeals for medical colleges, Navodaya schools, coach factories, steel factories, and paddy stock procurement the Minister, pointed out.

The Minister hit out at the  BJP leadership for rhetoric on paddy purchase and double standards.

Harish Rao expressed concern that the center slashed fuel charges to some extent after increasing more. Kishan Reddy and BJP leaders talk that the state takes more VAT on gas cylinders in the state.

Though center denied medical colleges to the state, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao took steps to increase the same from 5 to 21, Harish Rao said. Telangana produced only boiled rice in Yasangi and the center denied procuring the same.

He asked Kishan Reddy to give him would put pressure on the Centre to give medical colleges, coach and steel factories and time on the state development programs.  We passed a resolution in the Assembly session in favor of BCs census he said adding that 201 acres of land given to Bibi Nagar AIIMS.
