Hyderabad: The recognized Employees’ Union (EU) of APSRTC on Monday served a strike notice on the management of the corporation. The leaders of the EU met with Corporation managing director NV Surendra Babu and handed over the strike notice.
In the notice, the union leaders demanded that the management increase their salaries by 50 percent and incentives by 100 percent. The EU leaders have also urged the management to merge the Corporation with the State government and also demanded financial support to the corporation in case of losses. The union also put forward a demand of enhancement of retirement age to 60 years.
The Staff and Workers Federation leaders also extended their support to the strike call given by the recognized union. (NSS)
