The speaker of Telangana Assembly Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today paid rich floral tributes to Dr. B.R Ambedkar on the occasion of his 130th birth anniversary.
The speaker visited the statue of Ambedkar located on the Assembly premises and paid the tributes. He was accompanied by State Legislative Affairs Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy, government whip in state legislative council MS Prabhakar Rao and some MLAs of the house.

Speaking on the occasion he said that Ambedkar was a great man who had given the constitution to the world’s largest democratic country India. He said that the birth anniversary of Ambedkar was not confined to any particular caste or religion.
He said that Ambedkar was a role model for the entire Country. He said that the chief minister of the state KCR had achieved separate Telangana by following the ideas of Ambedkar who said that the provision of good governance was possible only through small states in the country.
He said that the CM was implementing several welfare programs for the development of SC, ST, and BC communities of the state for the last seven years.
