Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender today said the State government aims to provide best healthcare services to the poor at any cost.
After taking charge as Health Minister today, Rajender expressed concern over physical attacks on the doctors at Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday and warned of serious action against those involved. The government has been offering adequate funds for providing better health services in the hospitals and institutions through latest equipment. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has come up with new policies to provide better health services to the people and developed the hospitals with all the required facilities.
The doctors can deliver better services and the government will resolve their issues, Rajender said. Dr C Lakshma Reddy, during previous TRS regime had taken an initiative for providing corporate level facilities at the government hospitals. “KCR has asked us to provide the best services to the poor and avoid any complaints by addressing the issues”, he said. Attacks on doctors and hospitals are not right, he said. He appealed to the striking junior doctors to resume duties as the government will address the issues. (NSS)
