Hyderabad: She Teams, Hyderabad City Police along with Aurora College conducted an awareness Campaign against Ragging and Harassment at Ravindra Bharathi on Monday. Over 1,000 students from various colleges in the city participated in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Shikha Goel, Addl CP, Crimes & SIT, Incharge of She Teams & Bharosa, Hyderabad City, stressed upon the need for students to develop self-discipline. She explained the various initiatives taken by Hyderabad City Police to prevent harassment of women in public space. The need to follow cyber discipline was explained and students were informed about the Do’s and Dont’s while being online. Presentation on cyber crimes was given and various awareness films about eve-teasing and cyber crimes were shown during the program. (NSS)
