Hyderabad: Mohammed Jeelani, age:29 years, Occ: Working as supervisor in Azaan International school, R/o Nadeem Colony, Tolichowki in the city, has been arrested by the police on Saturday night, for allegedly sexually assaulting a kid in Azaan International School the previous day.
The brief facts of the case are that on Sept 14, police received a complaint from Smt Zakiya Hamdi W/o Imran Ahmed of Tolichowki, in which she stated that her daughter (victim) aged 4½ years is studying in UKG class in Azaan International school, was sexually assaulted by Jeelani who gave her a chocolate and took her into a bathroom of 1st floor in her school and committed the offence there. On receipt of the complaint, R. Kotesh, Sub-Inspector of Police, Golconda Police Station, registered a case under Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act-2012 and Mohammed Munawar DSP took-up the further investigation. On September 15, the accused Mohammed Jeelani was arrested at Tolichowki, and he is being produced in the court.(NSS)
