Hyderabad: Rationalist Babu Gogineni gave shock to the Madapur police as the High Court directed the latter to suspend investigation in the case for two months.
Babu Gogineni approached the Court saying he was busy in Big Boss program and was not in a position to attend the investigation for two months. The Court, after hearing the case, directed the police to suspend investigation against Babu Gogineni for two months. The police, who reacted slowly, have gone back to issue notices to Babu Gogineni, who was in Big Boss House. Babu Gogineni will continue in the Big Boss House for two months with Court’s intervention.
It may be mentioned here that several criminal cases were filed against Babu Gogineni in Madhapur police station alleging that he was collecting Aadhaar numbers against the rules and argued in television channels hurting sentiments of Hindus. The police filed cases under several penal sections — betrayal of the nation and Adhaar Act. (NSS)
