Bandi Sanjay confident that TRS will lose in Munugode by-elections

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government led by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) will face defeat in the Munugode assembly by-election, according to Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday.

KCR’s game is up, and his shop will be shut down soon, Sanjay said at the end of his fourth phase of the Praja Sangrama Yatra in Pedda Amberpet, on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

He stated that the BJP is bracing for a fight with the TRS and that his party is prepared to fight even if the TRS joins forces with the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM).

Sanjay said that now is the time for Telangana’s people to decide whether they want democratic rule or autocratic rule; a government of the poor or feudals; and Ram Rajya or Ravana Rajya.

He stated that the four phases of padayatra had brought him closer to the people and that he was deeply moved by their plight. He announced that he will begin the fifth phase of the Praja Sangrama Yatra from October 15.

Sanjay declared that if the BJP was elected, it would rename Ibrahimpatnam “Veerapatnam” in honor of the valor shown by the people of the constituency.

He recalled that the BJP had been fighting for many years for the official recognition of September 17 as “Telangana liberation day.”

The TRS was forced to celebrate the day, albeit under the guise of “national integration day” due to BJP pressure. The BJP deserves credit for the unfurling of the national flag in the old city, he said.

Sanjay claimed that state intelligence had informed him that the BJP was certain to win the Munugode by-election.

Sanjay stated that the SCs had complete faith in the BJP, claiming that it was his party that installed in Ambedkar and appointed 12 SC/ST MPs as Union ministers.

Sanjay refuted the TRS’s claim that if the BJP wins power, it will eliminate welfare programs. The BJP will never halt any scheme, whether proposed by the TRS or the Congress if it truly benefits the weaker sections, he said.
