Become an expert at sheep butchering in Hyderabad

A one-week practical course to teach butchering a sheep has been launched in Hyderabad by Al-Ameen Meat Mart at Tolichowki. In the Muslim community, sheep, goats, and cattle are sacrificed on Eid ul Adha, resulting in high demand for cattle and butchers. In Hyderabad, butchers from neighbouring districts charge Rs 1,000 for processing one sheep. To capitalize on this demand, the course was developed.

A special one-week course will be offered by Al-Ameen Meat Mart in particular for the Muslim community to learn the process of butchering sheep. During Eid ul Adha, people often have difficulty finding butchers to assist in the sacrifice and subsequent meat cutting process.

To meet this need, Al-Ameen Meat Mart’s manager, Mir Arshad Ali, devised a one-week course. A full understanding of all aspects of butchery is covered including sacrificing, removing hides and skins, chopping, and processing meat.

Participants over the age of 15 can enrol in the course for Rs. 2,000.

They will be trained by experienced butchers with decades of experience.

What is Eid ul-Adha?

Muslims across the globe celebrate Eid ul-Adha as a public holiday. Eid ul-Adha will begin on Saturday 9 July 2022 and end on Wednesday 13 July 2022.

It is common for Muslims to sacrifice a sheep or goat in some countries. There is an equal distribution of meat among friends, family, and the poor. Eid ul-Adha is celebrated on the last day of Hajj by Muslims. As the pilgrimage to Makkah in Saudi Arabia, the Hajj is a sacred event. In addition to being a very important event, it occurs every year.  Muslim pilgrims should visit Makkah at least once in their lives if they are healthy and able to travel.
