The back-to-back electoral defeats have sent the entire party cadres into a state of shock and confusion. The party has pumped in all its resources to win in the two by-elections as it considered them as elections to prove their dominance.

The party is likely to lose deposits in the two seats too. The final result will be out by the late night of Sunday. Political experts are saying that the popularity of BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on the wane.
