BRS office in Delhi inaugurated by CM KCR

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao inaugurated the party’s central office building in Vasant Vihar, Delhi, at 1.05 p.m., a time considered most auspicious on Thursday.

He took part in the Vastu Puja and Vedic rituals that preceded the new building’s opening. He unveiled the plaque and unfurled the BRS flag, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the party’s journey and emergence as a national political force. He was flanked by senior party leaders.

He was led to his chamber on the first floor of the building amid Vedic chants, where he sat as Veda Pandits showered blessings. He exchanged greetings with party leaders and workers with whom he held a meeting later in the day.

He greeted the party leaders and elected representatives who had flocked to the BRS central office for the occasion. The party office, which had previously operated from a temporary location on Sardar Patel Marg, will now operate fully from the new location beginning today.

It is also worth mentioning that KCR last visited New Delhi on December 12 to inaugurate the BRS temporary office on Sardar Patel Road, where he stayed for five days before returning on December 16. During his visit, Rao met with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Janata Dal (Secular) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy, and leaders of farmers’ associations from across the country to discuss the formation of a non-BJP alliance that could emerge as a strong alternative to the BJP-led NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The CM is concentrating his efforts on expanding the BRS in Maharashtra, where he has held three public meetings and admitted local leaders from various parties into the BRS fold. In the first phase, the CM has decided to open four party offices in Maharashtra’s major cities of Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, and Aurangabad.
