Sangareddy: As many as 26 passengers traveling in a bus had a narrow escape due to the timely action taken by the bus driver and crew before the bus caught fire and gutted. The private Bus was carrying passengers from Mumbai to Hyderabad. It reached Ramachandrapuram on the outskirts of the city this morning.
Noticing that smoke was coming from the engine, the alert driver stopped the bus on the roadside at Nagulamma temple. The driver and the crew then asked the passengers to vacate the bus immediately as the fire started spreading all over the bus. The panic-stricken passengers have appreciated the driver and its crew for their timely action in saving their lives.
