Hyderabad: One woman was killed and five others injured when a car hit them from behind, near Alankritha resort in Thumkunta village of Medchal district, this morning.
According to Shameerpet Sub-Inspector Razak, five workers hailing from Devarayamjal and Mandayapalli were walking to the Resort for work. A car came from behind and dashed against them, as a result of which all the six workers received grievous injuries. The injured were shifted to the Hospital in 108 vehicle. Out of them, one worker Lakshmi (40) of Devaryamjal village, died while undergoing treatment. Doctors said that the condition of the other five workers was critical. The identity of the injured workers was yet to be established. Police registered a case and took up investigation. (NSS)
