Certified Fraud Examiners’ Annual meet held

Hyderabad: The Annual Conference of Hyderabad Chapter of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners was held on Sunday.

Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police Hyderabad city was the chief guest and key-note speaker. He explained the stages and categories of crime and he has given various examples of Cyber Frauds. He also detailed how crime has come down after implementation of technology in prevention and detection of crime. He also spoke about the various digitization initiatives by the Government in Telangana state. The Commissioner also launched the website of the ACFE Hyderabad chapter and presented mementos to the event sponsors.

V C Sajjanar, IPS, Commissionner of Police, Cyberabad spoke at length about the money siphoned off by various Ponzi schemes. Muralikrishna, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad and  Jithendra S. Karape, IA & AS, Principal Director of Audit (Central), Hyderabad were also present.

Amit Garg, IPS, Additional Director General of Police, CID, Andhra Pradesh spoke on Investigation in Corporate fraud cases. P Sharath Kumar, President of ACFE Hyderabad Chapter has initiated the conference and spoke on the increasing prominence of Fraud examiners in the society. Vittal Raj from Chennai spoke at length on Digital Frauds while  Rajesh Murthy, Corporate took session on Ethics.  Krishna Sastry Pendyala gave a lecture on Fraud deterrence – Vision for Furture. Shireen Sethna of Vakkil Associsted discussed at length on the law relating to Fraud Investigation.
There was a panel discussion on “Ethics in Corporate world” moderated by  P Sharath Kumar , President,  Mani Padmanaban,  Krishna Sastry Pendyala ,  Pratyush Singh and  B Prabhakar.

G C S Sharma, Vice president,  Radha Krishna Rao Secretary,  Chandrashekar Treasurer and the Directors  Shankar Ganesh,  Ratna Sankar and Shri Rama Chandra Rao conducted the proceeding of the conference. About 150 anti fraud professionals from various corporates and independent consultants attended the program. (NSS)
