Chada shocked, demands Rs 5 lakh ex gratia to each victim family

Hyderabad: State CPI secretary Chada Venkat Reddy today expressed his grief over watery burial of 16 women farm laborers in the Musi canal at Lakshmapuram village under Valigonda mandal of Yadadri district due to a truck mishap on Sunday morning.

Demanding that the State government and Transport Department pay attention on preventing such ghastly road accidents, the CPI leader demanded that the government announce Rs 5 lakh ex gratia to bereaved family of each deceased woman and ensure best medical treatment to the injured. He also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the kin of the victims. (NSS)
