Hyderabad: CPI Telangana State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has called upon the artists to create art forms on social issues and raise their voice against loot and oppressive methods.
Speaking at the second conference of Telangana Praja Natyamandali at Desoddharaka Bhavan, Basheerbagh, here today, Venkat Reddy said artists and writers should bring about awakening among the people about the retrograde policies of the Governments, corporate forces, through their works. He said that the rulers were indulging in undemocratic actions, throttling the peoples’ voice and adopting fascist methods. The artistes should create different forms of works to create awareness among the people about these evils and to make them fight against these forces, he said. (NSS)
