Hyderabad: The Cyber Crime Police, Detective Department of Hyderabad City arrested the accused by name Rahul Kumar who had cheated many persons on the pretext of providing job by contacting through mobile phones & emails. The accused was brought to City on transit warrant, from Ghaziabad in U.P.
A press note said that on 11-10-2018, police received a complaint from a women R/o SR Nagar, in which she stated that she was searching for job, she was contacted by unknown persons through mobile numbers on the name of global job carrier and offered her job for Panasonic Company. Further, she was lured to transfer total an amount of Rs. 1,21,050/- to the bank accounts as registration fees, document verification, certification, security deposit etc. After transferring the money, she found the mobile numbers are switched off.
The accused has been cheating the job seekers by contacting them over mobile phones & emails. The accused procure the information of unemployed persons through web portals and make calls posing as global job carrier. Further, offers them job and collects money through bank accounts as registration fees, document verification, certification, security deposit etc. After collecting money, they would switch off their mobile phones and change them frequently.
The public are warned not to believe such type of job offers and don’t proceed with the payment as genuine companies would not collect money to provide job.(NSS)
