Hyderabad: With more than 4,000 people affected by the pandemic in the city, Hyderabad is witnessing a daily increase in the number of COVID-19 cases.
Acknowledging this concern, Cinthol, one of the leading soap brands that now comes with 99.9% germ protection, partnered with Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to stress the importance of hand hygiene amongst as it will be key to combat the spread of COVID-19. As part of this initiative, GHMC will be distributing more than 5000 Cinthol soaps to people living in containment areas, its municipal workers and the sanitation staff.
The virus outbreak has prompted a change in lifestyles affecting everything right from how we work, travel, eat, etc. and in testing times like these it is important to ensure that safety and hygiene remain the highest priority. Cinthol, through this initiative with GHMC, aims to convey the simple measure of washing hands regularly to ensure safety.
Sharing his views, N Sudhamsh, Deputy Commissioner (Chandanagar Circle), Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, said, “To win the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to ensure that hand hygiene is not neglected.
Washing hands regularly is a key preventive measure to stop the spreading of this virus. Cinthol has joined hands with us to spread this message. We are thankful to Cinthol for providing us soap bars which will be given to municipal workers, sanitation staff, and people living in containment areas.”
