Hyderabad: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy today asked the party leaders and officials to work up to people’s requirements and expectations. Clean and greenery are essential for the development of the towns, he said.
Participating in a Pattana Pragati program in Nalgonda on Wednesday, the Energy Minister said we have to strive to get trust and goodwill of the people. Now the chairman, deputy chairman and newly-elected municipal body have to play a key role in the development by involving people, he added. The program is for development by involving people, he added.
Jagadish Reddy said the State government was spending several crores of funds for the welfare of the people and development. “The people gave us power for development, corruption-free government and transparent services”, he asserted. The plantation drive must continue and protect at least 85 percent of saplings. The KCR government aims to build a green cover area and welfare, he said.
