Karimnagar: Former Minister and Congress senior leader D Sridhar Babu has alleged that caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao didn’t fulfill a single assurance given by him in the last elections. KCR failed to construct a single double bedroom in the 13 constituencies of erstwhile Karimnagar district.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Sridhar Babu alleged that KCR was framing false cases against the opposition parties’ leaders out of jealousy at them.
Exuding confidence that the Congress party will win a majority of the seats in the erstwhile Karimnagar district, Sridhar Babu said that the vexed people of the state were seeing an alternative government to TRS party government. The people were also thinking that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi has accorded separate Telangana state and Telangana would not have come if there was no Sonia Gandhi, he said and opined that the people were in a feeling that this time they will cast their vote to Congress party.
