CM Jagan Asks Officials to Give Priority to School Staff in Vaccine Administration

Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy today asked the officials to give priority to the school staff besides teachers of the schools in the administration of Covid vaccines.

He also said that the officials should administer the vaccines by making a village as a unit and added that such categorization would help in the proper administration of the vaccines. He issued these orders during his review meeting on the issue of the status of the Covid virus.

Speaking on the occasions said that steps should be taken to avoid the wastage of the vaccine. He asked the officials to prepare an action plan to administer the vaccine to all those who are in the age group of 18-44 years. He said that priority should be given to all those employees and staff whose job involves public relations. Jagan asked the officials to make the data related to Aarogyasri cards in QR code format and added that the scanning of the Codes should furnish all the details of the beneficiaries of the card.

He asked the officials till link the Aarogyasri card with the Adhar card of the beneficiaries. He asked the officials to appoint adequate number of staff from village clinics to teaching hospitals of the state and added that the officials should consider a district as a unit to take up all such appointments.
