CM KCR Developing Education System on International Standards in State: Niranjan Reddy

Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been developing the education system in the State on international standards, Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy said the TRS government got distinction by allocating over Rs 9,000 crore for improving basic facilities in the schools.

Singireddy Niranjan Reddy was the chief guest at the Mana Vooru Mana Badi program in Ellamma Rangapur and Vangur villages in the district on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was making all-out efforts to strengthen the primary education in the State. He also disclosed that the State government was planning to introduce English medium education in the government schools from this academic year. He said the State government allocated Rs 3.10 crore for improving basic facilities in Ellamma Rangapur primary, zilla parishad, Vangur ZPHS schools. He said the State government would allocate adequate funds in three phases to develop all the government schools in the State. The minister exhorted the parents not to send their children to private schools but admit them into government schools.

The minister said in the undivided Palamur district, irrigation water was being made available to six or seven constituencies and the remaining areas in the Achampet area will get water for which local MLA Guvvala Balaraju was making efforts.
