Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today expressed concern that development programs in villages and towns are not getting completed as planned.
There should not be any delay in Palle Pragathi, Pattana Pragathi, and Telangana ku Haritha Haram and other programs from July 1 to 10, KCR said.
KCR called a meeting with district officials at Pragati Bhavan here and sought to know as to why the development works are yet to complete. With irrigation projects, Telangana became a seed bowl to get more rice mills and food processing units he said.

The district officials should check spurious seeds, fertilizers and ensure timely delivery he instructed. We need food processing units in the state. One such unit is to be set up in 250 acres.
Despite giving funds and plans the district Collectors, assistant collectors, and officials arePalle Pragathi not focusing. On the development works in rural areas, he expressed displeasure.
Earlier this program was scheduled for June 28 and is preponed by two days as the Chief Minister preferred it to address the rural development issues. Those who attended the meeting were DPOs, DRDOs, and other officials.
The Chief Minister instructed them to focus on Palle Pragati Pattana Pragati and haritha haram for rural areas development.
KCR stated that his Government is for inclusive growth and all-around development. Unless villages get basic facilities we cannot claim complete growth. Involve local leaders and coordinate with officials for the clean and green drive he said.

Palle Pragathi, Pattana Pragati, and Telangana ku Haritha Haram are key programs for rural development KCR said. The officials made arrangements for the same to reach specific targets as the collectors are to focus on Palle Pragati, Pattana Pragati, and haritha haram.
The Chief Minister is to make surprise visits during this period.
