CM KCR Meeting on MLC Polls Under Local Bodies Quota

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today held a key meeting with ministers and party leaders on MLC polls under local bodies quota.

He reportedly discussed with them about polls for MLC seats under the MLA quota and local bodies.  While the names for six MLC candidates under the MLA quota were already announced by KCR. Now the chief minister will take a call on the winning candidates for the polls under the local bodies quota.

The Chief Minister got a report on the strong candidates of the TRS who thrive hard to reach out to people with welfare. KCR will announce the names of the winning candidates for MLC seats under the local bodies’ quota in the state.

The Chief Minister has called the meeting for the polls of 12 MLC seats under local bodies. He gave directions to the ministers and other leaders in attendance to win the polls. He hoped that the leaders will focus on local issues. The notification was released and scrutiny of the nominations will be on November 23 according to information.

Except for Hyderabad, nine previous districts will be going for polls as poll code prevails as the notification is issued.

The Chief Minister reportedly discussed poll strategy with MPTCs, ZPTCs, corporators, councilors, strength, and winning chances.

Meanwhile, the EC stated that elections for MLCs under local bodies quota will be conducted in two Telugu states on December 10 and results on December 14.
