CM KCR visits Yadadri temple and inspects preparations for the reopening ceremony

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has directed the Ministers and officials in charge to expedite the preparations for the reopening ceremony of the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri next month.

On Monday afternoon, around 2 p.m., the Chief Minister arrived in Yadadri and conducted an aerial survey of the area to assess the preparations for the reopening ceremony. The temple priests welcomed him with Poornakumbham and Vedic hymns, after which he performed special puja to the principal deity at the temple Balalayam.

CM KCR walked around the temple grounds, inspecting the ongoing construction projects that are nearing completion. He examined the sanctum sanctorum, Pushkarini, Kalyana Katta, separate bathrooms for men and women devotees, the RTC bus stand, the Annadanam complex, and the Vratha Mandapams, among other things.

He also went to a 75-acre plot of land in the foothills designated for the Yagashala, where SudarshanaYagam will be performed during the reopening ceremony. He is also scheduled to go over the plans for the reopening ceremony as well as the final stages of the ongoing construction.

It is well known that the Telangana government took the Yadadri temple construction work seriously, and the temple is nearly finished, with gold covering work set to begin soon.

It lost its sheen after losing the patronage of the rulers of former Andhra Pradesh. CM KCR vowed to restore its glory and took on this prestigious project, which had turned out beautifully with an awe-inspiring renovation.

CM KCR made several promises, including free house plots for temple employees and housing for journalists. He stated that free bus service would be provided for devotees travelling up the hill. A total of 250 cottages are being built in the temple town, with many more to follow by March of this year.
