Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will hold a high-level review meeting on Monday on the growth and expansion of Telangana State Food Processing Industry in Telangana State.
As the State government has taken up construction of Irrigation Projects on a large scale to provide ample of water for irrigation, there would be increase in the cultivation of crops and produce. The government has targeted to establish food processing units in the States to provide minimum support price to the produce. The meeting will widely discuss and prepare an action plan for the development of food processing industry in Telangana. Officials of Departments of Industries, Agriculture, officials and scientists of Agriculture University and Horticulture University were invited to attend the meeting. The Chief Secretary, Principal Secretaries of Agriculture, Finance, and Industries departments will also attend the meeting. The review meeting will start at 2 pm after lunch arranged between 1 pm to 2 pm for the officials. (NSS)
