Giving a boost to conduct RTPCR tests, health minister, Etela Rajender today launched a modern machine “Cobas 8800” at NIMS here.
The government plans to increase salaries for outsourcing and fourth class staff in the health sector, he said.
The minister said that the government is determined to increasing all modern facilities and equipment in all hospitals to fight corona cases.
The new machine is able to conduct 4000 RTPCR tests a day while the state has capabilities to conduct as many as 20000 RTPCR tests.
Nims hospital is the best for common poor people as it equipped with the latest equipment and facilities he said.
The minister said that the molecular center is able to conduct about 4000 RTPCR tests.
Ordinary health services will be started soon in Gandhi Hospitals.
