Cong Will Seriously Consider Violation of Poll Code by TRS Govt: Kuntia

Hyderabad: The Telangana Congress party affairs in-charge RC Kuntia has stated that the Congress party was considering violation of election code by caretaker TRS government, seriously. He reiterated that KCR was indulging in vengeful acts against Congress party leaders with the fear of defeat in the coming elections. He asked officials to act impartially.

Speaking to the media after a meeting of TPCC important leaders at Gandhi Bhavan today, Kuntia informed the party activists that the party will collect Rs.5000 from each booth committee as party fund from Gandhi Jayanthi onwards i.e. from October 2. In the meeting, AICC secretaries, DCC presidents and heads of all wings of the party participated.

TPCC manifesto committee co-chairman Komatireddy Venkat Reddy asked whether KCR didn’t know about TDP when he had an alliance with it in 2009 elections. He opined that one can understand that the TRS party was afraid of Maha Kootami and hence it was severely criticizing the alliance. He said that the Congress, TDP, CPI, and TJS were floating Maha Kootami only to see that the votes not to divided. Finding fault with the caretaker ministers T Harish Rao and KTR for speaking as they wished, Komatireddy suggested them not speak useless words.

Opposition leader in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir said that the TRS caretaker government was bringing the Bathukamma sarees from Mumbai. This was informed by none other than the driver of the lorry, which was transporting the sarees from Mumbai to Telangana state. He alleged that KTR, who said that the sarees were manufactured by Sircilla handloom workers, was once again deceiving the people. He said that the government stored the sarees transported from Mumbai at Gachibowli godown.

Revanth’s Plea to EC to Control Media

TPCC working president A Revanth Reddy demanded the election commission to control the TRS party favorable media, which was telecasting news in favor of the government and false news against Congress party. He asked the people to cast their vote Congress to power from Galli to Delhi and then only the Telangana state would be developed. The vote for TRS party was nothing but giving a ‘key to a thief’. KCR was looting the state while sitting in Pragathi Bhavan. On the other hand, KTR was speaking with mediocre knowledge, he said and alleged that KCR was like a Gabbar Singh in Sholay cinema. (NSS)
