Congress fears poll debacle: KCR–TRS to win 106 seats

Hyderabad: The opposition Congress time and again came in the way of TRS regime by filing cases against development programs, welfare schemes, projects and attributed corruption, TRS chief and Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said. At Ibrahimpatnam public meeting of Praja Ashirvada Sabha, KCR said that he had to dissolve the Assembly as he was  fed up with continuous meddling by the congress. The congress which said it was ready for the polls during midnight has filed fresh cases against the elections after dissolving the assembly,  he said.

He said  Congress leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy filed about 15 cases against the elections and other congress leaders are beating a retreat by attributing corruption and irregularities in the projects and programs of development. When we get into fray let us not go back and fight daringly the polls he said. Instead I thought to fight it in the field and seek fresh  mandate of  the people and dissolved the Assembly, he said. The TRS Supremo lashed out at the opposition for alliance with the TD and others to fight against the ruling party which is going to win about 106 Assembly seats in Dec 7 elections.

He appealed to the people to think and debate on  who should be voted to power. The Congress ruled for six decades and the TD for 17 years and they did not give adequate power. If the congress alliance voted to power the state will be deprived of power to farm sector, corruption will increase and prevail non development. As the TRS has been giving 24 hour power to farm sector, spending huge funds for welfare, Rs 1.16 lakh marriage of poor girls and completing irrigation projects the people should vote for the ruling party to get complete mandate.

I hope the people are knowledgeable and will vote for the regime that is known for welfare and progress he added. Recent survey has stated that the TRS will get about 106 seats out of 119 Assembly seats in the elections, he added. He also chided UPA Chairperson for her remarks against the TRS regime of failure while it had vied for welfare and development in all sectors. Sonia cannot understand the benefit of Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima and other beneficial schemes for the people he said. KCR also appealed to the people to reject the congress alliance for coming in the way of projects and development.(NSS)
