In the latest update in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, the Congress members drove by G.A. Mir, state Congress advisory group president arranged a protest in Srinagar on Tuesday against Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s arrest in Uttar Pradesh.
Police Called To Mediate The Protest
Protesting Congress leaders and members began from the party central command on the Maulana Azad Road in Srinagar and later took to the street when police mediated to scatter them. The protesters yelled mottos against Priyanka’s arrest and requested the renunciation of the Yogi government.
Tending to the media, at the party base camp, Mir said that the police overbearingness against Priyanka was condemnable and it mirrored the rebellion in the state.

“Priyankaji needed to feel for the ranchers and was distant from everyone else. Her arrest is condemnable,” Mir said. Priyanka is as of now party general secretary and responsible for Uttar Pradesh Congress.
Mir said all the Congress members assembled at the get-together base camp to convey the message that they all were in fortitude with the ranchers of the country.
“The police isn’t permitting us to move outside of our office. We are here to enlist our protest,” he said.
Congress Claims Use Of Drones To Monitor Priyanka Gandhi’s Arrest At PAC Visitor House
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been arrested after an argument was enlisted against her at the Hargaon police headquarters in Sitapur under different areas of the Indian Penal Code, including ignoring prohibitory orders and abetment.
The PAC visitor house where she has been under confinement since Monday, has been advised as an impermanent prison. The case, as per official sources, has been recorded under Sections 151, 107 and 116, on a report given by the station house official of Hargaon to the officer.

Recently, Priyanka tweeted a viral video of the Lakhimpur Kheri episode and inquired as to why has the individual behind the killing of four ranchers have not been arrested while she has been under confinement for 28 hours without a FIR.
Her party claimed that drones were being utilized to screen the development of Priyanka at PAC visitor house.
